The hardest song ever...The Star Spangled Banner

What is the most known song around the world, that everyone in the world should know? Figured it out yet, no, The Star Spangled Banner. This is a song that many people know around the world, and is also one of the hardest songs to sing. Have you ever thought about who has done it the best, the lyrics for this song may be set, but the song can be done in many different ways. I have three favorites so far. Beyonce Knowles, Mariah Carey, and then the all time great Ms. Whitney Houston. To me know one has topped her, but Mariah, and Beyonce sure have come close!

Influence

If you love Michael Jackson, which was also one of my favorite artist ever since I was a young child, then you know that he was the biggest pop start that the world has ever seen. He has set the way for, many of artist we know today. Keri Hilson, Chris Brown, Mario, Rihanna and more. One particular influence seems to be picking at me, because his lyrics are nothing short of amazing, his dancing skills are superb, and his way in music reminds me so much of the late Michael Jackson. Ne-yo. If you don't believe me, take a listen to his song, "Stop this world," or his latest single, "One in a million." Ne-yo has studied his idol down to the letter. Even his music videos spells J-A-C-K-S-O-N. This is not to be taken as a bad artist. I have to admit, I was worried about our real music. Why, all of the original greats have died off. But I believe that we are in good hands when it comes to Mr. Ne-yo. Now still having his own original twist on his way of expression, he still doesn't fall far, from having Michaels style. Okay love,
I know earlier I wrote a post for you asking where in the world Jojo went. Well now she is back she has come out with a mixed tape, and it is FREAKIN AWESOME!! She is most definitely on her grown woman tip in this one, she talks about real situations that everyone woman can relate to. Her voice, as always, is amazing plus the beats... OMG the beats on this mix tape are just, ugh. You have to listen to it, the name of her mix tape is called, "Cant take that away from me." Please, as I would say, for the love of music listen to it. For now listen to her song, "In the Dark," totally different Jojo from what we have known earlier.

My stress reliever..

Well people,
Again I am not going to right about a artist or music today. Rather, what music can do for you. Music to me is somewhat of a therapy. Most cases, actually all cases, it helps me to relax. When I am going through a problem or when I am stressed out about something, I often find myself, turning on my Ipod, or going onto my computer, and just closing my eyes and drifting away. It helps a lot with your temper. I used to be a person who used to get so mad and do so much when anger came my way. I have now, learned to channel that anger into a song, or listen to a song. Its wonderful, I have gotten through many of things because of it. So I say to you world, when you find yourself between a rock and a hard place, turn on your Ipod put on your head phones and block out the world with music..

Hey guys,
No artist or producer info today.. Just want to chat. Have you ever wondered, if real music doesn't reach the spot light like other music, then how do I find it? This is why doing your homework was essential and beneficial in high school. Homework rolls over into your adult life. If you want to find something you have to do your research. I found that Pandora. com and Itunes did wonders. You just type in the name of an artist or a song that you love, and the website matches other artist and song along with the one you put in, there for you hear other artist like that one. New and wonderful music.. I hope this helps some people out there.

Bruno Mars

Something about the song, "Just the way you are," makes me appreciate Bruno a lot more. I have to admit, that he was catchy when I herd him in, "Nothing on you." Then I herd, "I wanna be a billionaire," in which case I thought he was brilliant. The way he made something beautiful about a common everyday thought. Thinking about success. Then when I herd this song, I fell in love. He is a great male artist, check him out.

Rihanna is one of the hottest artist out. WHY, because not only did her albums sky rocket to the top, but her life is a juicy media frenzy. She just recently, came out with her album Rated R. ITS HOT!!! Totally different from her last, album with her hit single, "Umbrella." She has most defiantly developed into her own woman. Regardless of what anyone else thinks.

The point of it all....

Okay everyone, today I am not writing about a song or an artist. Shocked, me too. Well today is more of a discussion. What is the point in having a youtube page? Better yet, what is the point for my youtube page, because I can't speak for everyone. My youtube page, yes I have one, is for business. I love music, as you all know, and singing is something that I would like to peruse, if possible. Now, I have bills like everyone else, and the chance of becoming an artist that makes a little bit of money, is slim. This doesn't mean that you don't try. What do I have to loose? I don't have to spend any money in order to make a yourtube page, nor do I waist precious time. I love making music, and the challenge of it. Having a youtube page, gives me a reason to get up and write, so that I may share my creations, or remakes with you. So to all other artist out there with a youtube page, I applaud you, and for those who are skeptical about getting one, I encourage you. Please check out mine, and I hope you enjoy it.

I love the way you Lie...

So I didn't think I wanted to hear Eminem's new album. Why, the last couple of albums that I have herd from his were so angry. Now don't get me mistaken, if that is what his story is and what he was going through, then that is the story he should tell. Music is like therapy, its meant to heal and clean the soul. Well that is what I use it for anyways, and I believe that most artist that I love use it for that same reason. With Eminem anger it seemed like is just something he needed to get out of his system. The album, "Recovery," released in 2010 still has that hit of anger in it, but I now see thats just dude's style. I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, which I plan on doing, but from the words of my Husband, I hear that it is great. I am looking forward to hearing it, I trust that it will be good. I have already fell in love with new hit single, "Love the way you lie," with Rihanna.

It came about when I saw one of my followers on twitter mentioned her today. It hit me, I must search, one youtube video and it hit me. So I am an official fan, maybe even a big one!!

Janelle Monae made me love her, LOL. I have to admit, when I was introduced to this artist, I was a bit skeptical of hearing her work. I was ignorant at that moment. I saw it as if she would be too much for my taste. I was so wrong, this helped me see never judge before hand. Able to have the swift ability of a Ms. Lauryn Hill. Still having her own unique style. She is basically BRILLIANT!! All of amazing. Check her out, she is worth it.

Well everyone knows about Mrs. Beyonce. She has been hitting the stage every since she was a pre-teen. The woman has reached to a whole new level of fame. Her voice is nothing short of amazing, her concerts bring in people form all over the globe. I have a lot of respect for this woman. Some people hate her, but I love her. Either way she gets her work done. Song, "Thats Why Your Beautiful," is very unique, from B's normal style, I believe. I loved the way she did it, and commend her for the hard work she put into it. Justin Nozuka has the ability to sing any song, with all his soul. I personally am fascinated by that. Not every artist can make you believe what they are saying. The song that I have picked out to show an example, “No heaven,” does just that. This youtube video if very personal, about a serious situation. The lyrics are extreme, even though that maybe, you still have the want to listen because he is telling his story with such passion. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do..

This artist, is well known for his single, “I'm Your.” People; please hear me when I tell you he has so much more to offer you after this song. His album, “We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.,” is nothing short of spectacular. The word amazing won’t even do it justice. Plus his live performances, can rock you to the core. You may have herd of Jason, a while back. His “Mr. A-Z” was Grammy- nominated and then poof he disappears. Only to give his fans, a since of longing right? WRONG!! It was well worth the weight, and I thank him for the reality of his songs. You can feel that he was going through his life lessons, and a journey. His lyrics tells it all. Please for the love of all that is music, lol, look him up. Youtube him, and gain some wonderful insight on this artist who is Jason.

Karina stole my heart when she wrote, "My first Love." She has written and produced other songs since then. Karina is signed with Def Jam records and has made music for the soul. What I call my "therapy," really. She is one of many artists who have extraordinary talent but not the fame she deserves. Many may not know that Karina performed at the white house, or was the winning star on Star Search, or even a real big youtube star. This artist, is the one you should Google about people. Don’t underestimate her ability; the girl is powerful in all that she does.

Steph Jones has created a whole meaning to the song, “Sunshine,” with excellence and identity. This, to me, is how you know and trust that this is a true artist at work. He is feeling and making actual MUSIC. It takes a real artist, or a person with some type of passion, to recreate such a simple song and make it into something spectacular. If you listen to it well you can hear the meaning within the song. He did a great job on it, and I'm a fan.

This is a talented singer, songwriter, and poet. Plus, a great friend. She attends the University of Florida and has an amazing voice. Know it or not, she has the ability to make me feel the blues, with her soulful and jazz style. Or she can switch up the game, and take me away with runs that will take me years of practice to accomplish, but she does it with ease. All and all she got it.
