Singer Song Writer Society

University of Florida, home of the Gators is not just all about sports! They have a high academic level, and a teaching staff from around the world. Honestly, I mean its okay. I enjoyed my time as I was there, the one thing that made me enjoy my time even more was my SSS group. Some of the people at the bottom of my blog, are apart of this group, but since I have left, the group has matured and grown into something spectacular. You can find them either in the studio, on stage, or on twitter or Facebook. People from all different walks of life, are apart of this creation. Musicians, poets, singers, artist, and more. Either way I love them, and you should too. Check them out on Facebook, just type in Singer Song Writer Society and they should come up. You can also contact the president of the group Malika Wright, or the webmaster/ creator Kendall Paul or the special events coordinator DeMario Fort.

Marsha Marsha Marsha

I knew Marsha Ambrosius was great when she helped Jamie Foxx with, "Freakin Me," or when she told her lover to, "Say Yes," as a member of Floetry. Or my youtube favorite, "Diary." Either way she is amazing, I had forgotten about her honestly. However, now she is back, with a new weight, and a new album "Late Nights, and Early Mornings," and I for one am excited to hear it. For now check out her new single, "Far Away."

Music is all around us

Have you ever noticed that some movies, have the best songs you have ever herd? Or even a T.V. show series? The T.V. show series, "The Game," on "BET" has helped me open up my itunes many of nights. Introduced me to songs like, "Thia Time" by John Legend. Or "Whenever Whereever Whatever," by Maxwell. Good music can even come from hit movies, such as "Shes Out Of My League," Undiscovered" by James Morrison. These are just a few, enjoy this one. Remember, T.V. is not just visual, try to just listen!! Find the music in everything.

What is the most known song around the world, that everyone in the world should know? Figured it out yet, no, The Star Spangled Banner. This is a song that many people know around the world, and is also one of the hardest songs to sing. Have you ever thought about who has done it the best, the lyrics for this song may be set, but the song can be done in many different ways. I have three favorites so far. Beyonce Knowles, Mariah Carey, and then the all time great Ms. Whitney Houston. To me know one has topped her, but Mariah, and Beyonce sure have come close!
